Faculty and Staff

The faculty of the UGA Atmospheric Science Program are active and have won awards as teachers and researchers. Our faculty have been supported on research grants by multiple federal agencies, including NASA, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, National Science Foundation, U.S. Forest Service, Department of Energy, and the Department of Defense.

Our faculty have received outstanding teaching and advising awards from the University of Georgia. Faculty have received honors including: American Meteorological Society Fellow, D. W. Brooks Award for Excellence in Research, Fulbright Fellow, Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, Theodore Fujita Research Achievement Award, and the AMS Charles E. Anderson Award.
