Georgia Skies was developed and is maintained by the UGA Atmospheric Sciences Program. The UGA Atmospheric Sciences Program is administered by an interdisciplinary group of departments and schools, including: Dept. of Geography, Dept. of Engineering, Dept. of Physics & Astronomy, Dept. of Marine Sciences, Dept. of Statistics, Dept. of Crop and Soil Sciences, Dept. of Environmental Health, School of Forest Resources, and Aerospace Studies. The purpose of this site is to supplement data available to students through the CRL's NOAAPORT System and the GEMPAK/McIDAS software packages. The site is an easy-to-use source of internet-ready weather information. Current links to weather and climate data found on this site will take you to sites not administered by this server.
